Why I want to be a History Major

I would like to be a history major because I enjoy studying the past. I have a great talent for remembering little pieces of information that I find interesting. History classes are fun and you learn an incredible amount every time you pick-up a new book or read a new source. It really makes you grow as a person to be able to see into the minds of other great men and women and see how they thought, comparing their times with ours and using that information to guide your actions today.
